on one of the fryers it did not work after further inspection of why it did not work i found that the safety switch was not where it was suppose to be once unit was slid on the the housing (pans where the oil go's) so i had to order a special screw driver to take the unit apart. did that and found the the support to hold the safety switch in place was bent. so i yip tied it back into place and problem solved. the only other complaint i have is how touch the power cords are if you move the unit a little bit the unhook discounting power. that and there is no off button.
